**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in Neuro Surgical Step Down Unit!** **Job Description:** - Are you a passionate Registered Nurse looking to make a significant impact in patient care? - Join our dynamic team in the Neuro Surgical Step Down Unit and thrive in an environment where your skills are valued. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate patients and assist physicians in delivering exceptional care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. - Perform thorough assessments to identify patient requirements and prioritize care effectively. - Develop and coordinate individualized care plans through initial and ongoing assessments. - Conduct therapeutic nursing interventions to enhance patient recovery. - Document care meticulously based on standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practices to enhance care standards and innovate care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practices. - Float to various units within your competency as required. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a MS/Tele unit within a major acute care hospital setting. - Strong foundation in MS/Tele nursing practices. **Preferred Skills & Experience:** - Experience with ventilators and post-cardiac surgery care. - Background in post-surgical nursing. **Required Education:** - Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN). **Preferred Education:** - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). **Certifications & Licensure:** - ACLS-AHA - BLS-AHA - CEU Contact Stroke (4 hours) - NIHSS - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license - Telemetry Certification **Work Schedule:** - Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM - 3 x 12 hour shifts, weekends as needed - Holidays as needed - No on-call requirement - Float requirement as needed **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
