Job Description

Care Career is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Roseville, California.

Job Description & Requirements

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of L&D experience (most recent within the last 6 months)
  • Hospital Experience: Facility with minimum 150 births/month; Community Hospital required; Trauma Level I/II preferred
  • Licensure: Valid CA State License (Nursys uploaded within last 2 weeks)
  • Certifications (AHA or ARC only):
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • NRP
    • Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN Beginner minimum accepted)

Core Clinical Skills Required

  • L&D Capabilities: High-risk L&D, High-risk Antepartum, Triage, OR Circulating for C-Sections, Epidural/General Anesthesia, Recovery, Sterile Vaginal Exams, EFM/Internal Fetal Monitoring, IUPC, Pitocin, Mag Sulfate, PPH Management.
  • Newborn & Postpartum Care: Newborn assessment, APGAR scores, thermoregulation, resuscitation support, breastfeeding support, couplet care/mother-baby.
