Travel CNA Job Description

As a Travel Certified Nursing Assistant CNA, you will provide hands-on support to patients and assist nursing staff with daily patient care needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working Day or PM shifts in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide compassionate, direct patient care under the direction of nursing staff.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

• Help patients with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation as needed.

• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nurses or other appropriate healthcare staff.

• Obtain and record vital signs and other patient information as assigned.

• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration when required.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.

• Follow facility policies, procedures, and patient-care standards.

• Communicate professionally with patients, families, nurses, and members of the healthcare team.

• Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.

• Perform other CNA duties within the scope of certification and facility requirements.

Education & Certification Requirements

• Current CNA certification required.

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or Certified Nurse Aide credentials must be valid and in good standing.

• Previous healthcare or long-term care experience is preferred.

• Must be able to work 5x8-hour Day/PM shifts.

• Must be available to work every other weekend.

• Must be able to commit to a 40-hour workweek.

• Must live within approximately one hour of the facility.

• Must demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, reliability, and patient-care skills.
