**Join Our Dynamic Med/Surg Team as an RN!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Profile:** - Floor: 6th - Trauma Level: 2 - Role: RN in Acute Medical/Surgical Department - Specialty: Medical/Surgical - **Position Details:** - Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Weekend Hours: Rotating - Required Certifications: ACLS - Years of Experience: 2 - Float Requirements: Occasional to “like” unit - **Unit Information:** - Patient Ratios: 5:1 to 6:1 - Equipment: Telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, Bladder scanner, Dynamaps - Electronic Health Record: Cerner - **Management:** - Manager: Linda Bergren - **Patient Population:** - Adult and geriatric, ages 18 - 125 - **Hiring Profile:** - **Must Have Skills/Experience:** - Critical thinking skills - Decisive judgment - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Capacity to thrive in a stressful environment - **Preferred Skillset/Experience:** - Previous experience on a medical/surgical unit - **Education:** - Required: Bachelor’s degree - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue (Navy is also acceptable) - Personal Grooming: Nails clean, moderate length; tattoos must be covered; excessive jewelry is not allowed; must comply with Hand Hygiene Policy Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
