**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (Nursing)** **Job Description:** - **Start Date:** November 30th - **Work Environment:** Fast-paced Medical / Surgical unit specializing in Stroke Stepdown care - **Location:** Local candidates welcome (within 75 miles) - **Shift:** 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Note: Block scheduling is not guaranteed) - **Patient Demographics:** Adults with a variety of diagnoses, including: - Stroke - Altered mental status - Renal issues - Dialysis - COPD - CHF - Isolation cases - General medical-surgical - Pneumonia - Pulmonary conditions - **Unit Details:** - Total Number of Beds: 64 - Floating Required: Yes - Scrub Color: Navy Blue - **Common Equipment Used:** - IV pumps - N/G tubes - Feeding tubes - **Requirements:** - Up-to-date resume showcasing 2+ years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing, with stroke stepdown experience - Documented travel experience is mandatory - Skills checklist matching specialty - Valid driver's license with an address matching demographics - Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications (NIH certification can be obtained before the start date) - NURSYS report for active NY license and all active RN licenses - Must include RTO at time of submission - EMR experience with EPIC required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
