**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit! - **Unit:** Medical/Surgical - **Shift:** 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Note: Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed) - **Floating Required:** Yes - **Scrub Color:** Navy Blue **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care to adults recovering from surgical procedures. - Manage a variety of common patient diagnoses including: - Post-surgical care: Abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fracture, back pain, and morbid obesity (bariatric surgery). - Utilize specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes. **Qualifications:** - Must have 2+ years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing and documented travel experience. - Current AHA BLS certification. - Active NY nursing license & all active RN licenses.
