**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse - Med-Surg, Telemetry** **Job Description:** - Be at the forefront of patient care by evaluating patients and assisting physicians in delivering exceptional care. - Plan, implement, and meticulously document nursing care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. - Identify patient needs, setting priorities for care through comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans through initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments through understanding the patient’s problems or needs and the physician’s medical diagnosis using the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions that have a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. - Manage the care of patients with dedication and professionalism. - Document care in alignment with established standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and champion the adoption of innovative care delivery practices. - Provide patient-centric care in harmony with a professional nursing practice model. - Embrace additional duties and responsibilities that contribute to patient care excellence. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of prior RN experience in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital setting. - Strong background in Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing. **Required Education:** - Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN). **Preferred Education:** - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). **Required Certifications & Licensure:** - NIHSS. - Telemetry. - BLS-AHA. - CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours). - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. **Schedule Notes:** - Shift: 7a-7p (2 days), 7p-7a (1 day). - Total Hours Per Week: 36. - Weekend Requirement: Every other or as needed. - Holiday Requirement: Yes. - Float Requirement: Yes. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
