Job Summary:
This position involves operating and preparing specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures. The MRI Technologist applies technical judgment to obtain diagnostic-quality studies according to written protocols and patient needs. Responsibilities include patient education, safety adherence, equipment maintenance, and ensuring the accuracy and timely transmission of imaging results.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy, physical sciences, and MRI physics.
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Graduate of a JCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State License (L.R.T).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified).
• BCLS Certified.

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• Two (2) years of experience in MRI.
