Berkshire Medical Center – McGee Unit | Pittsfield, MA 01201

Contract Length: 08/17/2026 – 11/16/2026 (13 Weeks)

Pay Package (Travel)

  • Weekly Gross: $2,434.00
  • Weekly Taxable: $880.00
  • Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,554.00

Local Pay Rate

  • $55.00/hour

Schedule

  • Days | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 5x8-Hour Shifts
  • 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week
  • Every Other Weekend
  • Holidays as Needed
  • Possible Call

Facility Overview

Berkshire Medical Center is a 307-bed, Level III Trauma, teaching hospital located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This opening is on the McGee Detox Unit, providing specialized care for patients undergoing substance abuse treatment and recovery.

Critical Requirements — Read Before Applying

  • Minimum 2 years of current Substance Abuse/Detox experience required
  • Behavioral Health experience alone will not be considered
  • Previous travel experience required (minimum 6 months)
  • Massachusetts RN License must be active and in hand at submission
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle
  • Facility will not consider travelers living within 50 miles of the hospital
  • All RTO must be disclosed at submission (maximum 5 days)
  • No schedule accommodations for 10-hour or 12-hour shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Meditech Expanse experience
  • BSN preferred

Required Certifications

  • BLS (AHA)

Unit Details

  • Detox/Substance Abuse Unit
  • 20 Beds
  • Personal scrubs of any color
  • 8-hour non-billable orientation
