Apidel Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse RN CVOR for a local contract nursing job in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Description & Requirements

Position: RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Speciality: Cardiovascular Operating Room
Duration: 13 Weeks of Contract to FTE
Location: Detroit, MI
Shift: Flexible with 5X8 OR 4X10 OR 3X12 with a 6am start time.

Required Skills:
• Certification: ACLS, BLS,
• Education: BSN preferred
• License RN in Michigan
• Must have: 2 years of experience
• Block Schedule
• On Call 48 hours of call per 6-week schedule. Must be available 1 weekend a month

Note: This is a local position based in Detroit, MI, and candidates will be fully responsible for covering all relocation expenses independently, including travel (airfare) and accommodation costs. If this does not align with your preferences, please feel free to opt out.

Job Summary:
• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Education/Experience:
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).

Required Certification & Licensure:
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS
