Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. This role involves delivering patient care through the tenets of Relationship Centered Care, applying the nursing process, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. The RN will prioritize patient care, educate patients and caregivers, and manage assignments effectively. Additionally, the role includes ensuring quality and safety, engaging in professional development, and contributing to operational efficiency within the CSICU Coronary Care Unit.

Required Qualifications:

• Active NYS RN License
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of post-open heart and cardiac care unit experience
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 1 year of travel experience (required for travel positions, not for per diem positions)

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPIC experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program
