Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. This role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, utilizing the nursing process, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN will prioritize patient care, educate patients and caregivers, and manage assignments effectively within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Additionally, the RN will contribute to quality and safety practices, engage in professional development, and support institutional improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Active NYS RN License
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of post-open heart and cardiac care unit experience
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 1 year of travel experience for travel positions (not required for per diem positions)

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPIC experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program
