Requirements:

• Education: Associates Degree or Higher
• Experience: 2+ years of L&D RN experience in the Inpatient Hospital Setting
• Licensure: CA RN License
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN
• Skill Set:
  • Vaginal Exams
  • Circulating C-Sections
  • Post CS Recovery
  • Care of the high-risk antepartum patient
    • Gestational Hypertension
    • Gestational DiabetesCare of the laboring patient, including CS and Vaginal delivery and recovery
  • Obstetrical Emergencies, including Ob Hemorrhage
  • Care of the newborn, within the first hour of life
    • Breastfeeding, initial latch
• Typical Procedures:
  • Labor and Delivery Management, including vaginal exams
  • Outpatient testing: NST, CST, BPP
  • OB Triage, OBED, MSE
  • Versions, Cervical Cerclage
  • OP Injections

- Bachelors Degree preferred - Scrub experience preferred - NCC certification in Ip-Ob or EFM - MediTech/CPN charting experience preferred - Travel experience preferred
