Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to diverse patient populations on a Med/Surg unit.
• Monitor and manage IV drips, including Cpap, Bipap, and high-flow oxygen devices, with assistance from RT staff.
• Administer medications, including titratable infusions, and document accurately.
• Read and interpret ICU monitors and strips, fax findings to Med/Surg for documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in unit orientation and training for new staff and agency personnel.
• Adapt to floating assignments to support staffing needs across units.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
• Handle patient cases including CP, CHF, Pneumonia, Abd pain, pancreatitis, ortho, detox, post-op surgeries, and pediatric patients, excluding laboring moms and insulin drips.
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday schedules.
