Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Tele CWR

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Responsibilities include developing and coordinating individualized care plans, performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and advocating for evidence-based practices. The RN provides patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a Med Surg/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting.
• Strong Med Surg/Tele background.

Required Education:
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).

Preferred Education:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Required Certifications & Licensure:
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Telemetry certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association.
• CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours).
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
