Seeking an experienced MedSurg/Telemetry RN for a 6 North assignment.
Position Highlights:
7:00 AM–7:30 PM
36 guaranteed hours/week
Every other weekend and holiday coverage
Floating required as needed
No on-call
Epic EMR
Scrub color: Any
RNs identify cardiac rhythms every 4 hours
Key Duties:
Provide care for post-operative, cardiac, and medical-surgical patients
Monitor patients with heart failure, chest pain, pneumonia, cellulitis, and pancreatitis
Manage medications and therapies including Heparin, TPN, Lasix, and Cardizem
Monitor non-titrating drips according to established protocols
Assess patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate patient documentation
Requirements:
1–2+ years of MedSurg/Telemetry experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Epic experience required
Active Massachusetts RN license
AHA BLS required
Flu vaccine required during flu season
Local and travel candidates accepted
