We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for an urgent contract opportunity supporting a high-acuity oncology unit. This position is ideal for nurses with chemotherapy administration experience who are comfortable managing complex oncology patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients.
• Safely administer chemotherapy and other oncology-related medications.
• Monitor patients for treatment responses, side effects, and adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and clinical documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and symptom management.
• Maintain compliance with oncology nursing standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Chemotherapy Certification required.
• Must be chemotherapy trained and competent in administering chemotherapy.
• Previous Oncology nursing experience required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Night Shift: 7:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• 48 Hours Per Week
• 4 x 12-Hour Shifts
• Contract Assignment
