Local Contract Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $66-68 per hour

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Unit Specifics:

·       Number of Beds: 15 beds

·       Patient Ratios: 4:1

·       Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 1-2 LNA support

·       Type of equipment: GE Monitors, Hamilton Bipap and Hiflo, Baxter IV Pumps, Hemospheres

·       Documentation system: Meditech Expanse

·       Scheduling requirements: 12 shifts month (3 shifts a week). 4 weekend shifts Month. Department leadership completes the schedule around the RTO

·       Floating policy: Floating will be on a rotation basis with Travelers floating first

·       Patient Experience requirements: MyCare board are updated each shift during bedside shift report. Bedside shift report is completed at each change of shift

Hospital Specifics-

·       Certifications:

o   Comprehensive Stroke Center

o   Level 2 Trauma Center

All contracts must be able to work every other weekend. Candidates must have at least 1 year of PCU experience to apply. BLS, ACLS and NIH are required. Per diem positions are also available. Please reach out if interested!
