Job Summary:
Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. The role involves delivering patient care through the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and caregivers, and ensuring quality and safety in all aspects of care. The RN will also contribute to professional development and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
• NYS RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry and Med-Surg experience
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 1 year of travel nursing experience (for travel positions)
• Experience with ventilators
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program
Additional Information:
