Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support its nationwide Vaccination Initiative. The RN will administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations in a retail pharmacy setting while providing exceptional patient care, education, and clinical support.

Minimum Requirements

Active, unrestricted RN License
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience
Current BLS Certification
Experience administering all routine vaccines (Flu, COVID, MMR, etc.)
Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List
High School Diploma/GED (verification required)

Responsibilities

Administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended vaccines
Perform patient screening and assess vaccination eligibility
Educate patients regarding vaccines, side effects, and post-vaccination care
Accurately document immunizations and maintain patient records
Follow CDC, state, and CVS vaccination protocols
Ensure proper vaccine storage, handling, and infection control practices
Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a fast-paced retail clinic
Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals
Maintain flexibility with scheduling based on business needs

Strong vaccination and medication administration skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Adaptable, dependable, and team-oriented
Comfortable working in a high-volume retail healthcare environment

Looking for candidates residing within 30–35 minutes driving distance of the work location. This is preferred for all CVS Vaccination Support roles.
