Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Vaccination Support Initiative. The RN will administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations in a retail pharmacy setting while delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.

Minimum Requirements

Active, unrestricted RN License
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience
Current BLS Certification
Experience administering Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine vaccines
Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List
High School Diploma/GED (verification required)

Responsibilities

Administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended vaccines
Screen patients and assess vaccination eligibility
Educate patients on vaccines, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care
Maintain accurate vaccination records and documentation
Follow CDC, state, and CVS vaccination guidelines
Ensure proper vaccine storage, handling, and infection prevention practices
Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a retail clinic environment
Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and healthcare team members
Remain flexible with scheduling based on business needs

Ideal Candidate

Strong immunization and medication administration experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Adaptable, dependable, and team-oriented
Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail healthcare setting

Looking for candidates residing within 30–35 minutes driving distance of the work location. This is preferred for all CVS Vaccination Support roles.
