Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will administer a variety of immunizations, including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other recommended vaccines, in a retail clinic setting. PPE will be provided. The role requires delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care while supporting community vaccination initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other vaccines.
- Perform patient assessments before vaccination and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate vaccination records and required documentation.
- Educate patients on vaccines, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and work hours.
- Contribute to a positive, patient-focused team environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and vaccine delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Information
- Candidate questionnaire is required with every submission.
- Prior retail pharmacy experience is not required.
- This is an onsite, patient-facing position.
