**Join Our Dynamic Surgical Oncology Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position/Specialty:** RN - MS/Oncology (Surgical Oncology Unit) - **Shifts:** Days with occasional float to nights as needed - **Days of the Week:** Various days to align with unit needs - **Experience Required:** 2 years of acute care experience - **First-Timers Accepted:** Yes; must have teaching hospital experience if this is your first travel assignment - **Weekend Requirements:** Yes, per unit needs - **Certifications Required:** AHA BLS, CO or Compact RN license - **On-Call Requirement:** No - **Floating Requirement:** Yes, float within scope to meet facility needs, may float to sister facilities - **Total Staffed Beds:** 36 - **Charting System:** Epic - **Patient Ratios:** 1:6, may flex based on staffing and unit needs - **Scrub Color:** Navy - **Special Requirements:** - Teaching hospital experience required - Focus on caring for patients with a known cancer diagnosis needing surgical interventions - Majority of procedures and diagnoses relate to abdomen or pelvic area (Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, Stomach) - Nursing staff assists in achieving specific post-op milestones for discharge - No Chemotherapy or Biotherapy administered on this unit - Staff does not need to be chemo certified to apply **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
