Navitas Healthcare is seeking a local contract Pharmacist for a local contract job in Jamaica, New York.
Must have Inpatient experience.
Licensed Pharmacist required. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of Pharmacist experience. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy (Pharm.D. or equivalent) is required. Must possess a valid New York State Pharmacist License (NYSED) with Primary Source Verification. Candidates should have experience with medication dispensing, prescription verification, medication safety, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards. Experience using pharmacy dispensing systems is preferred. Familiarity with sterile processing, IV room workflows (IV compounding is not required for this position), and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is preferred. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment are essential. Applicants must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
