Pediatric & Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery NP/PA Locum Opportunity | Tampa, FL

Pay Rate:$110 -$130

Position Details

• Facility: BayCare Medical Group – St. Joseph's Children's Hospital
• Location: Tampa, Florida
• Specialty: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery NP or PA
• Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens

• Start Date: ASAP

   

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8-hour day shifts
• Call: Approximately 15 days/month (including weekends)
• Beeper call with 30-minute response time
• Call Ratio: 1:2

Responsibilities

• First assist in Pediatric & Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery cases
• Work alongside Pediatric & Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgeons in the OR and clinic
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative cardiac surgery patients
• Provide inpatient rounding and outpatient follow-up
• Care for pediatric cardiac patients, including ICU management
• Act as a patient advocate and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team
• Utilize Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Board Certified NP or PA
• Active Florida License or compact
• Minimum 3 years of post-training Pediatric Cardiac Surgery experience
• RNFA Certification required for Nurse Practitioners
• ACLS & PALS certifications required
• Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges not available)
