RCM Healthcare is looking for a part time BILINGUAL SPANISH Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to work in Houston, TX, at a charter school located Central Northwest area (zip 77092) . Caseload is about 8 students now, and will grow.

Position Summary
As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you will provide speech, language, and hearing support to students under the direction of a supervising Texas-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or Texas Education Agency Certified Speech Therapist. You will implement treatment plans and IEP services, support students’ communication development, and collaborate with teachers and school staff. You will also maintain required documentation and participate in ARD meetings as directed by the supervising SLP.

- Hours per week:8 students – about 4 hours per week
Key Duties- Conduct speech language and hearing services as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Follow treatment plans and IEP services designed by the supervising SLP.
- Provide carry-over activities and classroom support to help students apply communication skills across settings.
- Maintain required clinical records, reports, and documentation in compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Establish a positive learning environment and follow district policies, student discipline procedures, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
RequirementsEducation- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Science and Disorders.
- Required: 50 hours of clinical observation and assisting experience, as required for licensure.
Licenses & Certifications- Required: Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
- MUST BE FLUENT BILINGUAL SPANISH
Skills- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of speech-language disorders and related conditions.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, students, and school staff.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical and school procedures.
