**Join Our Dynamic Oncology Team!** **Job Description:** - Position: RN MS/Oncology - Surgical Oncology Unit - Shifts: Rotating shifts - Days: Various days of the week - Experience Required: - 2 years of acute care experience - Teaching hospital experience preferred for first-time travelers - Weekend Requirement: Yes, based on unit needs - Certifications Required: - AHA BLS - CO or Compact RN license - On-Call Requirement: No - Floating Requirement: Yes, may float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units - Total Staffed Beds: 36 - Charting System: Epic - Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: - 1:6 (may flex based on staffing and unit needs) - Candidates must have prior experience with flexible staffing ratios - Scrub Color: Navy - Special Requirements: - Teaching hospital experience required - Focused on surgical oncology for abdominal and pelvic area procedures (Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, Stomach) - Caring for patients with known cancer diagnoses requiring surgical interventions - Assistance in achieving post-op milestones for discharge - No chemotherapy or biotherapy administered on this unit - Chemo certification not required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
