Care Career is seeking a local contract nurse RN Case Manager, Utilization Review for a local contract nursing job in Torrance, California.

Remote Utilization Management (UM) Care Manager


Contract: 91 weeks
Schedule: 5×8 hours | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM PST
Location: 100% Remote | California


Requirements

  • Active California RN license required
  • 3+ years of acute hospital Care Management/Utilization Management experience
  • Epic experience required — recent use within 6–12 months
  • InterQual experience required (HARDSTOP)
  • Medicare knowledge required (HARDSTOP)
  • Experience with CA/Medi-Cal, HMOs/IPAs, medical necessity, concurrent & continued-stay reviews
  • Hospital-based experience required; health plan/medical group-only experience does not qualify

Equipment: Laptop, keyboard & mouse provided HARDSTOP: Epic + InterQual + Medicare Knowledge
