Local ER Nurse - Days and Nights available

Job Summary:

Copper Queen Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Level 3 Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) team on a PRN day or night shifts basis. This position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for experienced nurses looking to provide high-quality patient care on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established hospital and nursing policies.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients in the Med/Surg unit.

• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team promptly.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).

• Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, quality care.

• Provide patient and family education and support.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Arizona (or compact license).

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred.

• BLS certification (required).

• ACLS certification (preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire).

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
