Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional clinical training or coursework in radiologic sciences is preferred.

Certifications Requirements:

  • ARDMS certification.
  • BLS certification.

Experience Requirements:

  • Must have at least one year of ultrasound experience.
  • Prior experience working as a Mammo Technologist preferred.
  • Experience with hospital-based imaging in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work 8a-6p shifts, 4-10 hours per day.
  • Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Apply appropriate ultrasound techniques to perform diagnostic imaging of the breast, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to accurately document findings and assist in diagnosis.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures, patient interactions, and imaging results in accordance with hospital protocols.
