Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Local Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. This local contract role focuses on assisting residents with daily living activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of care.
The Local CNA will work collaboratively with the nursing team to support patient well-being, monitor resident needs, and help maintain a safe, patient-centered environment throughout the assignment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff
Monitor and report changes in patient condition
Assist with mobility, hygiene, feeding, and personal care needs
Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
Document care provided accurately and timely
Support infection prevention and safety protocols
Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team members to ensure quality care
Requirements
Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of West Virginia
