Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a local contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct nursing care according to established care plans and physician orders.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions accurately and safely.
Assess, monitor, and document resident health status and changes in condition.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members.
Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Promote resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license required.
PCC (PointClickCare) training required.
Current BLS Certification preferred.
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
