We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a local night shift contract assignment. The LPN will provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, supporting overall patient wellbeing and ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to work independently during night shifts, and a commitment to resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to RN/physician
Provide direct patient care including ADLs support
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Support infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
Ensure patient comfort and dignity at all times
Active LPN/LVN license (state appropriate)
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Ability to work overnight shifts independently
Strong clinical and communication skills
