Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a local contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident health status, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions and changes in health status.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards.
Support resident-centered care and quality improvement initiatives.
Promote comfort, dignity, and overall well-being of residents.
Requirements
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license required.
Current BLS Certification preferred.
Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
