Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

• Valid CNA Certification

Certifications Requirements:

• BLS certification
• PCT/ER Registration experience
• LTC experience

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years hospital experience
• Familiarity with small-town ER settings or floating between departments
• Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

• Ability to follow facility protocols and procedures without question
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to switch between administrative and hands-on patient care responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the main ER registration person, checking patients in, registering them, and obtaining vital signs.
• Assist nurses by providing support with patient care activities and documentation.
• Help on the floor during slow periods by passing trays, preparing patients for meals, and answering needs.
• Relieve other CNAs for breaks by assisting with patient care duties.
• Follow all facility protocols and procedures diligently, ensuring a professional and compliant work environment.
