Job Requirements
Education Requirements:
- Valid degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution
Certifications Requirements:
- Georgia Respiratory License
- NBRC (RRT/CRT) certification
- BLS certification
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Experience with intubations and assisting with intubations
- Experience with CPR and managing codes for infants to adults
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including 3x12-hour days or nights
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to rotating weekends and block scheduling

Job Responsibilities
- Provide specialized respiratory care and treatment to patients in a rural hospital setting.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including ventilators and intubation tools.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately within EMR systems.
- Execute emergency procedures, including CPR and assisting with codes for infants to adults.
