Position Details

Position Details:

Drivers will complete single-stop farm pick ups and deliver live chickens to the processing plant.

Deliveries average less than 110 miles from the plant.

Drivers will average 12 loads per week, no loading. 100% of loads are live loaded (avg 35 - 45 minutes).

Drivers are required to check straps and chains to ensure cages are correctly fastened to trailers.

Required PPE: Hard Hat (Provided), Safety Vest (Provided), Gloves (Provided)

No Unloading: 100% drop & hook.

Special Requirements:

The first driver to the farm will have a Moffett on their trailer.

Driver is required to take the Moffett off the trailer and the last driver load it back on.

Drivers are responsible for securing chicken cages onto the flatbed trailer with hooks and binders.

Drivers are required to haul loads for other accounts when freight volumes are low to maintain earnings at neighboring accounts.

Truck Info:

Day cabs that will be slip seat.

All automatics, NO MANUALS.

Newer model trucks with consistent trade plans.

Trucks equipped with CB Radios, brush guard, floor mats, boot brushes on steps.

Operating Area

Drivers on this local job will operate in a 150-mile radius of Bethlehem, GA.
