Local Truck Driver Class A

Job Summary:

Must be able to work 5 days a week including weekends, 8 loads per week. Average loads takes 5 hours per day roundtrip , all local work. Serving Trader Joe’s in the DMV. Must be able to back up into tight spots. Pay is $40 to $50hr paid every Saturday. $1300 to $2000 a week possibility of making more. Form 1099 issued for wages earned. You must have a clean driving record with at least 2 years recent experience as a class A truck driver. You will be responsible for safely transporting to various locations. This is a great opportunity for someone to make money and be home daily with family. This is an independent contractor position no benefits offered.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers. This role involves transporting freight efficiently and safely while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo throughout the journey.

Duties:

• Operate trucks equipped for various types of freight including refrigerated trailers.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo details.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues encountered during transport.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
• Experience in route driving with a strong understanding of freight handling.
• Familiarity with operating different types of trucks including refrigerated trailers.
• Ability to load and unload cargo safely using forklifts or manual methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
