Position Details

Position Details:

• Delivering furniture, appliances, electronics, and zero turn mowers to Aaron's stores in a 53' trailer.

• Driver will be required to use a dolly and liftgate to unload freight from 53' trailer.

• Driver must have the strength to unload product from trailer without stores help (some examples of items you will unload include refrigerators, washers and dryers, bed frames, mattresses, box springs, couches, tables, zero turn mowers).

• Driver will be responsible for taking service items from stores and securing them on the trailer to return to the FC.

• Driver will be responsible for ensuring the correct items are delivered to each store, and getting the paperwork signed by the store manager before heading to the next stop.

• The stores you deliver to will change each week. Driver must be flexible as we do dynamic routing.

Special Requirements:

• Unloading: Driver is required to unload freight at each store with use of a lift gate and dolly.

• Safety: Driver will have to safely maneuver tight parking lots to setup for delivery at store.

Truck Info:

• Daycab

• Truck must remain at the account during time off

The position will need the driver to be flexible to work with other local accounts in the Atlanta area. The driver will be working for other accounts when load volumes are lower for the Aarons account when out of peak season. Most of the accounts we will be working for are live unloads and Drop and Hooks at DCs but could be store deliveries on special occasions
