Position Details

Position Details:

• Drivers will make deliveries of product in rail containers from the ramp/rail yards in Stockton CA to customers in the Bay area and northern CA

• 60% of freight is either pork or alcohol

• At the receiver, freight is a combination of drop/hook and live load/unload

• No touch freight

• Driver is required to pick up containers at the receiver and return them to the ramp in Stockton CA to be railed across the US for delivery

Special Requirements:

• Hazmat is not required, however, if the driver gets the hazmat endorsement the ramp will reimburse the cost
• Hazmat loads pay extra

Truck Info:

• Automatic Day Cabs
• Slip seating is required
• Smoking is not allowed in the trucks
• Trucks must remain at the account for time off

This position is paid an hourly rate for all hours worked plus an activity-based bonus payment. The activity-based bonus payment is the sum of your eligible activity pay less your base hourly earnings for the week.
