Localization Project Manager II – Music, TV & Sports

Location: Cupertino, CA
Work Arrangement: Onsite – 5 days/week
Contract: 6-month W2 contract with possible extension
Pay Rate: $66–$71.00/hour, depending on experience

About the Opportunity

Russell Tobin is seeking a Localization Project Manager II to support a leading global technology company. This role will support localization efforts across Music, TV, and Sports experiences, with a strong focus on Localization QA, project coordination, testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing localization projects and QA efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, tracking bugs and deliverables, and working effectively in a fast-paced global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate localization QA efforts across multiple projects and languages.

• Work closely with internal teams and local and international vendor testers to plan and execute localization testing.

• Create and maintain QA plans to support localization testing and delivery.

• Support QA activities in the localization lab and help ensure testing is completed on schedule.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track localization and software-related bugs through resolution.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate issues and support timely fixes.

• Monitor project progress, deliverables, timelines, and overall QA status.

• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and blockers effectively to management and cross-functional partners.

• Manage multiple localization projects simultaneously while working within tight deadlines.

• Help ensure high-quality localized products and content are delivered on time across multiple languages.

• Quickly identify potential issues and proactively escalate risks that could impact project timelines or quality.

• Adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborate with global teams and vendors across different regions and time zones.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the localization and QA process.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of localization workflows, software development, and software QA.

• Proven experience in localization project management, localization testing, and bug tracking.

• Experience working with content management databases and localization tools.

• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.

• Experience planning, managing, and delivering multiple projects within tight timelines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration experience.

• Ability to work independently within a global team environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

• Ability to identify priorities, manage competing deliverables, and escalate blockers quickly.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and direction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with iOS, tvOS, or similar consumer technology platforms.

• Familiarity with consumer technology products and digital services.

• Experience with Python and/or JavaScript scripting.

• Native-level fluency in one or more languages in addition to English.

• Experience coordinating localization vendors or multilingual testing teams.

• Experience working in a global localization or software QA environment.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Localization, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Software, or a related field.

• Professional experience in localization, QA, software testing, or localization project management.
