LOCATION MAINTENANCE & REPAIR TECHNICIAN – Knoxville, TN

Part-time - Asheville Outlets (required 1 visit per week), Eastridge Mall (required 1 visit per week) & Northlake Mall (required 2 visits per week)

$652.00 Monthly Base Pay (paid bi-weekly)

Plus $20.00 per hour + mileage reimbursement (Fitness clubs)

• Night, weekend, and holiday availability is required

BASIC FUNCTION

The Part-time Location Maintenance and Repair Technician is responsible for the service and maintenance of equipment within a defined area in and around Knoxville, TN.  Currently there are fitness club locations that require massage chair service maintenance and an airport requiring cart unit service and maintenance.  Responsibilities may be increased after 6-12 months, depending on skill and performance, to include additional locations (malls), equipment (strollers, carts, and lockers) and monthly collections.   

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to massage chair service calls at fitness clubs; maintenance, repair and cleaning
• Complete and submit all necessary reports accurately and on time
• Maintain database; record completion of daily tasks, equipment meter readings, and service history of equipment
• Establish, organize, and replenish personal inventory of replacement parts, tools, and cleaning equipment
• Assist with the installation of new locations or the upgrade of existing locations

SKILLS

• Previous experience in electrical and mechanical equipment repair
• Possess a high-level of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic aptitude, including root-cause analysis
• Ability to maintain records, write reports, and effectively operate electronic data systems
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, facility management, and co-workers
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Organized and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift 40 lbs. to waist height
• Push/Pull 75-100 lbs.
• Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time
• Visual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs

EDUCATION

High School Diploma required

Associates or Technical degree preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

•  Drivers License is required
