A high-growth, well-known, multi-state HVAC company is seeking a Location Manager to oversee facility and field execution for its installation crews.
Role Overview
The Location Manager is accountable for ensuring installation crews leave the facility fully equipped, prepared, and on time, and that each HVAC install is completed successfully and on schedule. The Location Manager oversees this work of inventory control, facility management, and holds ultimate accountability for successful execution of installs and deliveries. Candidates must bring experience managing W2 employees, not contractors.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility and installation crews across the Rochester territory
- Ensure installation crews show up fully equipped, prepared, and on time, and that HVAC
- Gvans leave the facility fully stocked and ready to complete each install
- Oversee the warehouse coordinator and facility staff responsible for inventory and truck loading, ensuring accuracy and accountability
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Rochester location and report back into HQ
- Enforce safety standards, company policies, and operational procedures across the team
- Track team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed
Required Background
- Proven leadership experience overseeing teams in a trades and field operations environment
- Experience managing W2 employees (not contractors) required
- Strong people management skills — able to lead, motivate, hold accountable, and execute on SOPs and performance management across a field workforce
- Hands-on, visible leadership style with a strong floor presence
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- HVAC industry experience preferred but not required — operations or trades background strongly valued
- Clear, direct communicator who builds trust with both leadership and frontline staff
- Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus
