Qualifications & Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years experience within the structured environment of a service industry.
- Experience in the installation and keying of ASSA locking mechanisms.
- Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and skills in locksmithing.
- Knowledge of procurement methods.
- Ability to work effectively with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
- Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with staff, students, parents and community members.
- Knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws, district procedures and Board policies.
- Ability to handle confrontation and conflict without an emotional response.
- Skills in time management.
General Information:
Performs preventive maintenance tasks and various maintenance duties on locks, high security locking systems (ASSA), manual and hydraulic door closers.
