Job Summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for an Urgent Care assignment in Torrington, CT. This position is part of a regional GoHealth network and requires providers who are flexible, independent, and comfortable working across multiple clinic locations.

Pay Rate:$110/hour

Minimum Requirements

• Active Connecticut NP or PA license (or eligible to obtain prior to start)

• Board Certified/Board Eligible

• Current DEA registration

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)

• Recent Urgent Care and/or Emergency Medicine experience

• Ability to independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages

• Comfortable performing common urgent care procedures

• Ability to travel up to 45 minutes between clinic locations

• Willingness to split shifts between two locations when needed

• Flexible to accommodate reasonable last-minute schedule adjustments

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous GoHealth or hospital-affiliated urgent care experience

• Strong procedural skills including:

  • Suturing

  • Wound care

  • Incision & Drainage

  • Splinting

  • X-ray and EKG interpretation

  • Phlebotomy/Blood draws

• Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients

• Local candidates preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality urgent care services for patients of all ages

• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries

• Perform office-based procedures as needed

• Interpret diagnostic testing including X-rays and EKGs

• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver excellent patient care

• Float between clinic locations as required

Compensation & Additional Information

• Pay: $110/hour

• Start Date: October 1, 2026

• Disclosure of any credentialing, malpractice, NPDB, or licensing issues

• Previous employment with GoHealth or affiliated hospital systems (if applicable)
