Job Title: Locum CRNA

Job Type: Locum / Contract
Location: East Texas
Duration: 3-6 months
Shifts: 8 and 10 hour shifts available
Call: Frequent primary and backup call needs during the week and weekends
Case Types: Neuro, General, OB/GYN, GI, ENT (healthy peds), Plastics, Urology, Podiatry, Labor Epidurals and SAB for C-Sections. Ortho is elective totals and trauma - almost no ambulatory
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days, but temps can be granted if needed and with a clean file
EMR: TBD
Supervision Model: Independent with MDs onsite if needed from Monday-Friday
Special
Considerations: OB experience and proficiency is a must. Neurosurgery cannot be excluded. Experience with vascular and thoracic surgery will help, as well as experience in regional and pediatrics. Providers will commonly do run-of-the-mill general surgery cases and see their high-acuity ones.
Job Summary:

candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and
a patient-centered approach to care. This locum opportunity offers
flexibility while allowing the CRNA to work within a collaborative,
well-supported anesthesia care team.
Requirements
Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board
on Certification and Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas
Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA
experience preferred; proficiency in various case types
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide
anesthesia care to diverse patient populations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to
work effectively with patients, families, and the care team
BLS and ACLS required; PALS and other
advanced certifications as applicable
