Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner Critical Care in Suffolk, VA

Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with current credentials
- Proven ICU/Critical Care experience, including vent management
- Ability to place central lines, arterial lines, and dialysis catheters
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple patients effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in diverse hospital settings or with varied patient populations
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or CCRN
- Previous experience with adult critical care patients in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care nurse practitioner experience in a hospital setting
- Prior ICU or emergency department experience highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work a minimum of one shift per month; schedule flexible and based on availability
- Credentialing completion within 2-4 weeks
- Willingness to work day and night shifts as needed
- Travel reimbursements available, including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage (hotel max $150/night; car max $50/day)
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
