Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Nurse Practitioner for an emergency medicine locum tenens role supporting a community hospital in Lehigh Acres, Florida. This opportunity places providers within a busy outpatient emergency department environment focused on acute care for a diverse patient population, supported by modern electronic health records and strong specialty resources.

• ED Beds: 11
• Admission Rate: 13%
• Staffing Coverage: Physicians 24 hours/day, APPs 22 hours/day

• Strong specialty support including cardiology, orthopedics, radiology, and interventional services

Clinical Scope

• Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency patients
• Management of acute medical and traumatic presentations
• Procedures within scope of practice, including ACLS and PALS protocols
• Documentation within Meditech EHR
• Collaboration with physicians, nursing, and specialty teams

Requirements

• Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license
• Minimum of 1 year emergency medicine experience post-training (urgent care or ER staff nurse experience not considered)
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner 
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• 24 hours Stroke CME annually
