What You’ll Do

• Provide urgent care services including suturing, I&D, foreign body removal, burn management, and minor trauma stabilization
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as X-ray interpretation and point-of-care testing
• Manage patient care from presentation to disposition, including initial stabilization and treatment of episodic higher-acuity cases
• Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care delivery
• Handle patient populations from birth to death, with varying acuity levels

What You Need Required

• Valid Virginia Nurse Practitioner license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient or urgent care experience
• Strong procedural skills, including suturing, I&D, and triage management
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to fluctuating patient volumes

Preferred

• Experience with trauma stabilization and orthopedic procedures
• Comfortable with high patient throughput and complex cases
