What You’ll Do

• Manage a diverse outpatient patient population, ages birth to death
• Perform procedures including laceration repairs, I&D, foreign body removal, and splinting
• Conduct assessments, interpret diagnostic tests, and coordinate care for higher acuity cases
• Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR systems
• Assist with minor injury stabilization and patient education
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient patient flow and care quality

What You Need

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
• BLS certification (required)
• 2+ years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
• Proficiency in suturing, I&D, and emergency stabilization skills
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills

About the Assignment
This outpatient urgent care setting in Richmond welcomes NPs to deliver high-quality care across various clinical presentations. Providers will see a wide range of cases, including episodic events with higher acuity patients referred to Emergency Departments as needed.
